The interview begins with a look back at his early years while growing up in Dearborn. Mike tells us about people that made an impression on him when he was young, and what led him into architecture. We learn about his participation with the school band at Dearborn High and the University of Michigan, including trips with the band to perform at the Rose Bowl and The Super Bowl.
